So, 3 months have passed since my last journal update, and Loki has grown like a weed lol Not much new on the home front, although as of late, I am reconnecting with a few people I knew 6, 7, 8 years ago...it's crazy, to go so long without hearing from them and then POOF, they're asking you how you are today, like you just saw each other yesterday lol
It's funny, I stumbled upon a page today here on DA and noticed a person fervently touting their DOG as a "Wolf". Even amidst interjection by knowledgeable people, AND given the fact that in the pic I saw there was clearly a Husky/Malamute, the person still denied their animal was anything but a Wolf. Kinda cracked me up reading the posts...but it got me thinking about what I have said about my last 2 Huskies...how they were *supposed* wolfdogs. I never once claimed them to be "Wolves", maybe only saying they looked "wolfish" or "wolfy". I did mention both were *advertised* as wolf hybrids, and quickly denounced the idea, as I truly doubt such claims, even if I do buy one of their beautiful puppies for what they are...Huskies, Malamutes, or a mix...a "Huskamute" lol Anyway, too many people these days go around touting their animal as Wolves, instead of loving them as they are. (I think on youtube I even saw a chihuahua owner claiming to have a wolfdog LMAO)They see this as a status symbol, not a pet to love and care for. I know Loki, while he has beautiful golden brown eyes, (from the Malamute in him) has about as much Wolf in him as I do lol But I love him to pieces, and think he's a great pet and companion to have around.
PS...this journal skin is awesome,

! lol
